LindaMarie James

LindaMarie James is President of the Board of Burnaby Lyric Opera and produces the annual operas and Sunday Afternoon at the Opera Concert Series.

Her own operatic career began at the Vancouver Opera and has taken her across Canada, the United States and throughout Germany. Some of her many roles have included Carmen, Cenerentola, Azucena in Il Trovatore, Charlotte in Werther, Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, Maddalena in Rigoletto and Desideria in the Canadian Premiere of The Saint of Bleeker Street by Gian Carlo Menotti.

As founder of the 3DIVAS, LindaMarie has performed with the 3Divas throughout British Columbia and the U.S.A. in concerts and on national television and radio. A versatile artist, she has performed with the Vancouver Symphony, Edmonton Symphony, Lethbridge Symphony, North Shore Symphonia and various Symphony Orchestras in Europe as a featured soloist in concerts, oratorios and television broadcasts.
