Mozarts musical masterpiece comes to life again with the Burnaby Lyric Opera production team and the best of B.C. operatic talent. Don Giovanni is a young man living a life of seducing one woman after another until he encounters defeat in three women. The first is Donna Elvira whom he has deserted. The second is Donna Anna; she must postpone her marriage to Don Ottavio after Don Giovanni tries to seduce her and kills her father when he comes to her aid. The third is Zerlina whom he tries to lure from her fiance, the peasant Masetto. All vow vengeance on Don Giovanni and his harassed servant Leporello. Will they succeed? Will Don Giovanni ever repent or will he be punished for his sins?
