Teresa Connors is active in many aspects of Music: acoustic/electroacoustic composer, opera singer, and film scorer. She collaborates with a multitude of artists from diverse backgrounds and sensibilities. Originally from the musically rich island of Newfoundland, Teresa studied both Composition and Opera singing at Dalhousie University in Nova Scotia as well as the Banff Center for the Arts and is presently studying voice with Linda Marie James.

As a singer Teresa has had the pleasure of premiering several Canadian works by fellow composers as well as performing with Burnaby Lyric Opera (Suor Angelica as Le zia Principessa, The Barber of Servile as Bertha), DragonDiva (Iolanthe as The Fairy Queen), Opera Appassionata (Cavalleria Rusticana as Mama Lucia), The Opera Factory New Zealand (The Marriage of Figaro as Marcellina)
